On November 21st, the real estate section of the New York Times, Great Homes and Destinations, featured a farmhouse in the town of Três Rio, south of the state of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. The article shows the beautiful property and also gives tips to foreigners that would like to buy in Brazil. This blog would like to add, that not only it’s hard for foreigners to get financing in Brazil but also it’s better not to. Interest rates are so high in Brazil, that it just doesn’t make sense. If you can get financing in your home country, it is the best thing to do.
